On October 12-14, Track Commission was held in Cracow, organized by the Chamber of Commerce for Public Communication, the Municipal Roads Administration of Cracow and ZUE S.A. The event was an opportunity to present the most modern infrastructure solutions in public transport. In addition to numerous lectures, incl. representatives of the City of Cracow or Cracow Roads Administration, Municipal Investments Board, MPK and the University of Technology, it was possible to participate in technical trips to the MPK “Nowa Huta” carbarn or a tram tunnel. MMR Group TransComfort was the sponsor of this year’s Committee. Mariusz Zaremba, Deputy Sales Director / Railway Vehicles OE Infrastructure, presented a lecture entitled “Modern solutions in tram infrastructure”, and paid particular attention to the safety of cyclists and pedestrians on the tracks (VeloGleis system).
Then, the Polish Chamber of Producers of Equipment and Services for Railways organized on October 13-15 in Wisła the 18th Conference “Modernization of rolling stock – purchase and maintenance”. During the conference, in addition to lectures, there were also discussion forums:
- “Comfort, safety, ecology, repeatability, availability – a standard or a challenge for rail transport”
- “Rail transport – from design to effect – low emission, energy efficiency, interoperability, unification”.
The conference was attended, among others, by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of State Assets, the Ministry of Labor and Technology Development, the Office of Rail Transport, the Railway Institute, public and private carriers, universities and manufacturers of rail vehicles. During the conference, MMR Group TransComfort presented the portfolio of its products and services for the rolling stock, and explained the values that modern railway technological solutions should bring.
