MMR Group TransComfort at the 2026 Komisja Zasilania

On May 7-8, 2026, another edition of the IGKM Komisja Zasilania [Power Supply Committee] meeting took place in Poznań. As one of the sponsors, MMR Group TransComfort addressed the need for identifying traction network equipment and presented modern solutions in this area.

This year’s Komisja Zasilania [Power Supply Committee] meeting, organized jointly by IGKM and Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne w Poznaniu Sp. z o.o., was held under the theme: “Safety and Reliability of the Traction Power Engineering System.”

The topics discussed during the meeting were particularly relevant to MMR Group TransComfort. Adam Mianowski, Product Manager, presented the T-REX 750 tensioning device (weighing only 50 kg, which is unusual for this type of solution and significantly simplifies the installation process). He also took part in a discussion panel dedicated to the marking and identification of traction network equipment.

We would like to thank the organizers and all participants for the insightful discussions. See you again next year!

MMR Group TransComfort tests a machine for precision cutting of rails from polyurethane

MMR Group TransComfort has carried out tests of a machine designed for cutting rails out of polyurethane. The tests were conducted at the end of April in Łódź during repair works related to the need to replace rails embedded in polyurethane on a track shared with a bus roadway. The tested machine is the only one of its kind in Poland, and its technology was developed in Switzerland. This marks another step toward more efficient and modern maintenance of tram infrastructure.
