Audits of the Road and Bridge Research Institute – extension of FPC certificates for MMR Group TransComfort

 

On June 5-7, 2023, audits of the Road and Bridge Research Institute took place at the production plant of SEALABLE Solutions GmbH in Waltershausen. MMR Group TransComfort has obtained:

 

  • as part of supervision – extension of the Factory Production Control (FPC) certificate for the RCSÒ system,
  • as part of supervision – extension of the Factory Production Control (FPC) certificate for track-bed mats,
  • as part of certification – Factory Production Control (FPC) certificate for the Velogleis system.

 

Successfully completed audits enable MMR Group TransComfort to draw up the National Declaration of Performance for the above-mentioned products and mark them with the construction mark “B”.

MMR Group TransComfort tests a machine for precision cutting of rails from polyurethane

MMR Group TransComfort has carried out tests of a machine designed for cutting rails out of polyurethane. The tests were conducted at the end of April in Łódź during repair works related to the need to replace rails embedded in polyurethane on a track shared with a bus roadway. The tested machine is the only one of its kind in Poland, and its technology was developed in Switzerland. This marks another step toward more efficient and modern maintenance of tram infrastructure.
