The 15th edition of the TRAKO fair is over – MMR Group TransComfort once again won an award!

The 15th edition of the TRAKO  International Railway Fair ended on September 22, 2023. MMR Group TransComfort hosted customers and potential business partners at the booth B50 for four days. The fair was an excellent opportunity for three premieres: collision warning systems in tram vehicles, the proprietary MONOLITH rail fastening system (with the prof. J. Podoski award) and traction network equipment.

During the 15th TRAKO International Railway Fair, the latest achievements of the railway industry were presented – innovative solutions, technologies and products, which have a significant impact on the development of this sector. During the fair, there were also many discussion panels, presentations and lectures regarding the future of railways.

MMR Group TransComfort hosted its customers, suppliers and potential business partners at the booth B50. During the fair, it premiered:

  • collision warning systems in tram vehicles (front and side collision warning system, driver’s condition monitoring system, Head Up Display and Ac2ated Sound audio system),

  • proprietary MONOLITH technology for constructing tram track structures intended for tram-road traffic (a solution including a method of fastening tram rails in the rail channels of the cement concrete substructure, in monolithic or prefabricated technology; in the rail channels, rails are mounted in elastomeric profiles, which are attached to the substructureusing the PCC-MMR MONO-MASS cement-polymer mortar composed as part of the project),

  • traction network equipment (elements for the construction and maintenance of the traction network – tensioning devices, section insulators, cantilevers, suspensions, connectors, cables and special solutions for unusual installation conditions).

The MONOLITH system won the prof. J. Podoski award in the competition for the most innovative technical solutions in public transport, organized by the Izba Gospodarcza Komunikacji Miejskiej [The Chamber of Urban Transport].

MMR Group TransComfort would like to thank the organizer, other exhibitors and all visitors for another great edition of the TRAKO fair. We are looking forward to TRAKO 2025!
