MMR Group TransComfort has received IRIS certification confirming the highest quality standards

On January 4, 2024 (by decision of October 27, 2023), MMR Group TransComfort, a leading manufacturer in the Polish tram and railway industry, obtained the IRIS certificate – International Standard for the Railway Industry, awarded by UNIFE (European Association of the Railway Industry).

The IRIS certificate was granted for the activities of MMR Group TransComfort as part of the design and development of certification scope 03 (Guidance) of wheelsets.

The obtained certificate confirms the company’s application of the highest quality standards in the tram and railway industry, especially important for such a key element as the wheel of a rail vehicle. At the same time, the certificate indicates that specific customer requirements are met, such as:

  • the highest standard of products and services,
  • state-of-the-art innovation in technology,
  • timely deliveries,
  • competent and quick service contact and technical arrangements,
  • technical know-how and experience,
  • professional service,
  • guarantee.

The IRIS certificate, as a document confirming quality and reliability standards, is required not only in Europe, but also in Asian and American countries. Based on the international standard ISO/TS 22163:2017, which covers specific requirements for railway organizations, as well as the ISO 9001 quality standard, IRIS aims to become a technical standard within the ISO group certification.

For MMR Group TransComfort, achieving IRIS certification is a unique distinction and another milestone in the pursuit of excellence in customer service, technological innovation and ensuring the reliability of products and services.

MMR Group TransComfort cordially invites all interested partners to cooperate, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
