International symposium on vibrations

We are pleased to announce that MMR Group TransComfort headed by Mariusz Zaremba (Deputy Sales Director MMR Group TransComfort, Railway Vehicles OE Infrastructure) took part in the 16th International Symposium on Human-Induced Vibrations and Seismic Influence on Structures, which took place on May 15-18.2024 in Krakow, at the Cracow University of Technology. 
The presentation on vibrations caused by rail traffic from their origin to protection against them was led by Matthias Klug from SEALABLE Solutions GmbH, a long-time business partner of MMR Group TransComfort.
MMR Group TransComfort is pleased to contribute to educating the young generation and instilling in them a passion for learning more about infrastructure. We would like to thank the Cracow University of Technollogy, the Department of Mechanics of Structures and Materials of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, especcially Izabela Drygala for their interest in our participation in the symposium and we hope that our presentation contributed to fruitful discussions on vibrations and their impact on structures.

MMR Group TransComfort tests a machine for precision cutting of rails from polyurethane

MMR Group TransComfort has carried out tests of a machine designed for cutting rails out of polyurethane. The tests were conducted at the end of April in Łódź during repair works related to the need to replace rails embedded in polyurethane on a track shared with a bus roadway. The tested machine is the only one of its kind in Poland, and its technology was developed in Switzerland. This marks another step toward more efficient and modern maintenance of tram infrastructure.

From April 21 to 23, MMR Group TransComfort carried out a series of specialized training sessions for rail vehicle operators, focusing on the principles of operation for primary and secondary suspension systems. Company representatives have already visited POLREGIO, Koleje Śląskie, and Koleje Małopolskie. The initiative aligns with the company’s long-standing priority of emphasizing the importance of proper servicing and maintenance of rail rolling stock.
