Delivery of 18,000 meters of CuMg 0.4 (BZ II) wire for Tramwaje Warszawskie [Warsaw Trams]

Following successful tender procedures, MMR Group TransComfort is delivering 18,000 meters of copper-magnesium (CuMg 0.4) wires with cross-sections of 35 mm² and 50 mm² to Tramwaje Warszawskie [Warsaw Trams]. In March, a shipment of 15,500 meters of wires was completed. Currently, delivery of an additional batch comprising nearly 2,500 meters is underway.

The BZ II type wires are used in the infrastructure of Tramwaje Warszawskie [Warsaw Trams], including as cross suspensions and anchoring components for the catenary system. These elements play a key role in ensuring the reliability of the city’s rail transport. The wires, manufactured in accordance with DIN 48201-2 standards, offer the high quality and durability required for urban traction network operations.

This delivery is another example of MMR Group TransComfort’s commitment to the development of modern and reliable solutions for tramway systems in Poland.
