MMR Group TransComfort implements drive solution for the food industry

MMR Group TransComfort, in cooperation with Szlachet-Stal from Piotrków Trybunalski, has implemented specialized drive solutions designed for operation in the food industry environment. The AC motors ensure reliable performance of equipment in demanding production conditions, as well as optimization of key technological processes.

The food industry is one of the sectors where standard technical solutions are often insufficient. Key factors include resistance to environmental conditions, ease of cleaning, and reliable continuous operation. In response to these needs, MMR Group TransComfort supplied its customer, Szlachet-Stal from Piotrków Trybunalski, with AC motors from the German manufacturer EMOD Motoren. The motors, featuring a sealed, ribless housing, are used in automatic poultry portioning machines – the first stage of the poultry processing line.

The AC motors are distinguished by three key design features:

  • IP67 protection rating – ensuring high resistance to intensive daily washdowns and harsh environmental conditions typical of the food processing industry;
  • ribless housing design – eliminating potential areas for contamination buildup, significantly facilitating the maintenance of high hygiene standards;
  • compact construction – enabling optimal adaptation to machine space constraints and efficient use of drive space.

The implementation of AC motors at Szlachet-Stal confirms that a properly designed and selected drive system is not merely a machine component, but a real factor influencing the efficiency of the entire production line.

MMR Group TransComfort tests a machine for precision cutting of rails from polyurethane

MMR Group TransComfort has carried out tests of a machine designed for cutting rails out of polyurethane. The tests were conducted at the end of April in Łódź during repair works related to the need to replace rails embedded in polyurethane on a track shared with a bus roadway. The tested machine is the only one of its kind in Poland, and its technology was developed in Switzerland. This marks another step toward more efficient and modern maintenance of tram infrastructure.

MMR Group TransComfort delivers training on the operation of rail vehicles

From April 21 to 23, MMR Group TransComfort carried out a series of specialized training sessions for rail vehicle operators, focusing on the principles of operation for primary and secondary suspension systems. Company representatives have already visited POLREGIO, Koleje Śląskie, and Koleje Małopolskie. The initiative aligns with the company’s long-standing priority of emphasizing the importance of proper servicing and maintenance of rail rolling stock.
