Secondary air suspension systems
Secondary air suspension systems reduce vehicle structural noise and wear on rails, wheels and other suspension components, as well as regulate vehicle height according to varying load values. They contribute to increasing the comfort of a rail vehicle and guarantee the safety of its running.
Air suspension systems of the second degree are responsible for transferring longitudinal and transverse forces, vertical static loads and dynamic loads. They also protect the rail vehicle against derailment in airless (emergency) mode.
Secondary air suspension systems are matched to the vehicle and the function they must fulfill in it. For tram vehicles we offer:
– rolling lobe air springs – they are used in the narrowest spaces for installation, in tram and low-floor bogies.
