Refurbishment of the crossroad of Bałtycka and Obornicka streets was run by MPK Wrocław together with MMR Group TransComfort, under the supervision of the Instytut Badawczy Dróg i Mostów [Road and Bridge Research Institute]. MMR Group TransComfort provided technologies in the form of modern prefabricated concrete slabs and elastically embedded and insulated rails. The solution uses a proprietary, innovative product for fastening – MMR MONO-MASS.
MMR MONO-MASS is intended for use as part of the rail fastening system (part of the RCS system), both during the construction of a new and renovation of the existing track structure. The product has very good properties for filling the space under the rail and next to the rail, it does not adversely affect the properties of the grout (e.g. consistency or spreading), it is self-levelling and frost-resistant. MMR MONO-MASS has already received the National Technical Assessment of the Instytut Badawczy Dróg i Mostów [Road and Bridge Research Institute].
MMR Group TransComfort invites to Wrocław for the May Track Commission of the Izba Gospodarcza Komunikacji Miejskiej [Urban Transport Chamber of Commerce] and MPK Wrocław sp. z o.o. (May 10-11, 2023), where the details of the MMR MONO-MASS will be presented. MSc. Mariusz Zaremba and MSc. Marcin Dziewa will give a lecture entitled “MMR Group Polska in the tram infrastructure. Rail Comfort System in the technology of prefabricated slabs”. It will be an excellent opportunity to present a new, revolutionary product, among experts of the polish track infrastructure industry.
